Celebrate!

I signed my first downline today.  Yeah,  I am so excited.  As a way of celebrating that Monica has joined my team, I am giving one of you a special gift.  The first on that emails me and tells me her name will win a free stamp set.  It is the Three Little Words set #113254 a $13.95 value.

Also sadly today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration. I haven't had too many workshops this year so I want to ask for you all to check your calenders and book a workshop with me.  The first one to book a workshop will get a special prize.

Remember we are still searching for members to your Stamp club.  We have 3 and we are hoping for 6 to 10 members.

Spring and Mothers day

Hello Stampers, the time is getting closer to that wonderful time of year.  The time where everything starts awakening.  Spring!  The weather warms up and the flowers start to come back.  Of coarse it has down sides too, allergies, sinuses, and bird poop on your car.  But it is mainly a happy time.  Here are 2 cards that really bring the spring feel.  One is a spring or Easter card and the other is a Mother's Day card.  I am not posting instructions on these because I would still be typing instructions up when summer got here.  I thought you would like to see them and get inspiration from them.  I will still give you the ingredients.  Here they are:
This is the Spring card.  I just love the color combo.  Don't you?
Recipe
Ingredients
  • Certainly Celery card stock #105125 Cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"  scored and folded in 1/2 making an 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card.
  • Whisper White card stock #100730 Cut 5 1/4" x  4" and also a scrap of the same card stock approximately 3 x 3.
  • Almost Amethyst card stock #102158 Cut 5 1/4" x 4" and also a scrap of the same card stock approximately 3" x 6"
  • Certainly Celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon # 109031
  • A Flower for All Seasons stamp set # 111592
  • 1 3/8" circle punch # 104401
  • Scallop Trim Border punch # 118402
  • XL Fancy Flower punch # 118073
  • Snail adhesive # 104332
  • Stampin' Dimensionals #104430
  • VersaMark ink #102283
  • Stampin' Emboss Powder black # 109133
  • Heat tool # 100005
  • Stampin' Write marker Certainly Celery #105106 and Barely Banana #100039
  • Blender Pens # 102845 I used them in conjunction with the following ink pads
  • Almost Amethyst Classic ink pad #101723
  • Chocolate Chip Classic ink pad #100908
This card takes lots of patience but it is worth it.  The short directions is I took the ribbon and fed it through the holes in the scallop trim border and wove them just like we did in kindergarten.  It took me a while, but I figured it out.  I did every other hole so that when doing the ones in the opposite direction there was room for them.  After that it is just over and under.  I also punch out 2 of the XL Fancy flower punches and layered them for the background of the image.
