Heartfelt Thanks

I got my goodies yesterday.  After the kids went to bed, I started playing.  I created this adorable little Thank You card to show that you can use the Sweetheart stamp set for more than Valentines. Although I made a Valentines lolli with it last night that I will post either tomorrow or after that.  I hope you like this card as much as I do.  And feel free to leave comments.  I would love to hear what you have to say.

Isn't it just precious!
Recipe
Ingredients
  • Pixie Pink cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored and folded at 4 1/4 (#105121)
  • Yoyo Yellow cardstock 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 (#102824)
  • Whisper White cardstock 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 (#100730)
  • scraps of Whisper White and Yoyo Yellow cardstock
  • Pixie Pink classic ink (#105212)
  • Green Galore classic ink(#102122)
  • Full Heart punch (#113693)
  • Scallop Trim corner punch ( goes with the free punch from the Sale-a-brations catalog) (#118870)
  • Sweetheart stamp set (#120780 for clear mount or #120415 for wood mount)
  • Paper snips(#103579)
  • Bone folder(#102300)  If you don't have one get one, it makes folding so much easier, neater, and everything stays better.  ( MUST HAVE)
  • Snail Adhesive(#104332)
Steps
  • Stamp the scallop heart from the Sweetheart stamp set in Pixie Pink on the 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 Whisper White cardstock.
  • Stamp the leaves and stem from the Sweetheart stamp set in Green Galore on the same piece of Whisper White lining it up with the heart to look like a flower.
  • Punch out a heart out of the Yoyo yellow cardstock the scrap piece.
  • Stamp the Heartfelt Thanks from the Sweetheart stamp set in the middle of the heart
  • On scrap Whisper White stamp another set of leaves and cut out just the leaves
  • Score with your Bone Folder down the center of both of the leaves
  • With you Snail adhesive glue the punched heart in the center of the flower and half of the folded leaves and place them on top of the stamped leaves on the card
  • Use the Scallop Trim corner punch to punch all the corners.  (I just love this new punch design)
  • With the Snail glue the Whisper White on to the Yoyo Yellow cardstock lining up all the corners and edges.
  • Glue to the Pixie Pink card base.

Wouldn't these be great for all kinds of thank yous.  I really don't think that most people send enough thank you cards.  It is a lost art....But we are bringing it back aren't we?

You have a wonderfully blessed day!
Misti
